Bay Bells 40th Anniversary Handbell Concert

Bay Bells, one of the Bay Area’s premier community handbell choirs, is proud to present its 40th Anniversary Concert Series, with three performances across the region.
 
This special program highlights the versatility and artistry of handbells, featuring a dynamic mix of lively and rhythmic showpieces, expressive sacred and classical works, and familiar favorites. Music to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary will also be included. Collaborative performances with instrumentalists and vocalists, will add depth and variety to this celebratory program. Each concert offers a rich and engaging musical experience for audiences of all ages.
Admission is free, donations welcome. Just show up at the door!

Bay Area Spring Ring

Bay Bells is a co-sponsor of the annual Spring Ring held each year on the second Saturday after Easter. This year's Spring Ring is April 18, 2026 at Sunnyvale Presbyterian Church, 728 W. Fremont Ave, Sunnyvale.

Bay Bells is available to play at your next event. Bay Bells can add to the enjoyment of any special occasion. If wedding bells are in your future, Bay Bells offers a selection of original music and traditional favorites to enhance your special day. We also offer educational programs appropriate to audiences from elementary school students to senior citizens. Of course the winter holidays would not be complete without the sound of bells; Bay Bells offers programs of seasonal music appropriate for events ranging from house parties to corporate events.

Bay Bells performs on five octaves of handbells. The amount of space required for the group is about 30 feet wide x 8 to 12 feet deep.

The group rings on tables. If you supply tables for a performance, they should be 30" wide to accommodate the foam padding that protects our bells. The ensemble requires tables totaling 24-30 feet in length (e.g., four - five tables, each measuring 30 inches by 6 feet).
